need help - Ancient Chinese pictographic symbol

Hello everyone,

 

Some time ago i came across this symbol - after a lot of hours of re-search and a lot of effort to understand what is it, i find myself in a same spot where i started. 

 

I would very grateful if someone could help me on this one - or to refer me to book or somewhere else who possibly could know "what is it".

I think the reason you are having problems is because I don't think it is a chinese character ancient or modern.

 

It appears to be a picture of a fish with some other marks. It may be the Christian fish symbol.

 

What is it on? This might help.

Hi there,

 

Thank you for you respond. After my re-search which is really was very deep what i was able to look at on internet- one of options was that christian's symbol - but i came across this option when i never had a chance to think about something else I even  looked at early satanic symbolism

 

I pretty much sure that it is Chinese - this is Asian for sure - i don't think that possibly could be Japanese or Korean, where possibly could be produced blue and white porcelain - it is not Europe for sure, not much left to consider i guess - but i might be wrong.
