Where do Chinese people network globally as oppose to only in China? Where do Chinese people interact with foreign people online? Any ideas? mvh, Quote

老马萍 Posted February 18, 2016 at 07:19 PM Report Posted February 18, 2016 at 07:19 PM I have used a website , mylanguageexchange.com, to meet Chinese people who speak English to practice my Chinese. This site will enable you to find someone who speaks virtually any language in the world. Chinese speakers who post on this site are living in many countries, not just China. I have used it to find people geographically near me for face-to-face contact as well as people living in China or other countries. You make contact through the website so your privacy is maintained until you choose to make direct contact with someone. I have had one friend for 8 years who lives in Amsterdam and travelled with me to Yunnan Province. Give it a try! Pat 1 Quote

New Members zeebra Posted March 5, 2016 at 02:05 AM Author New Members Report Posted March 5, 2016 at 02:05 AM Ok, thats a good start. But let's say, someone is looking to get into contact with Chinese people before moving there, like translators, lawyers, business people, bankers and so fourth. How do chinese people build digital networks? And many of those services I have found are not available to foreigners, and exclusively available in Chinese. Quote
GaoJinJie Posted March 10, 2016 at 11:29 PM Report Posted March 10, 2016 at 11:29 PM I am pretty sure that most Chinese professionals are actually on LinkedIn. This is especially the case for professionals that speak English. I worked for a Big 4 accounting firm and all our Chinese colleagues could be found on LinkedIn. Quote
