Harvey Posted July 4, 2005 at 01:25 PM Report Posted July 4, 2005 at 01:25 PM Does anyone here write for, or ever been published in the magazine THAT'S BEIJING? I saw that magazine while I was in Beijing and it was really cool. A by foreigners, for foreigners kinda thing. Curious if anyone has ever attempted to contribute. Quote
roddy Posted July 4, 2005 at 01:44 PM Report Posted July 4, 2005 at 01:44 PM I know we have one contributor, a columnist and a receptionist on board Only the first and last are regularly logging in though, and there may well be others I don't know about. Roddy Quote
Harvey Posted July 4, 2005 at 01:55 PM Author Report Posted July 4, 2005 at 01:55 PM Thanks for the reply, is that something you get paid decently for? Like, could you live off the salary you make from being a contributor? Or is it something most people do just as a hobby along with their real job? Where I'm at http://www.kto.co.jp/ (kansai time out) is the key gaijin paper. They pay about 3000 yen (30$) per published article. A little more for longer submissions. Fun stuff. Quote

monkey_c Posted July 5, 2005 at 08:28 AM Report Posted July 5, 2005 at 08:28 AM Actually, That's magazine (they got Beijing, Shanghai, and maybe Guangzhou) has a readership that's over 50% Chinese. I thought I read once that it was around 70%? Quote
