imron Posted March 7, 2016 at 02:28 AM Report Posted March 7, 2016 at 02:28 AM All posts by new members go in a moderation queue and need to be approved by a moderator. They can take anywhere from 1 minute to 24 hours depending on how busy the moderators are with other things. After you have made several posts then this restriction is lifted. In the meantime, don't just go making random 'me too' or 'I agree' posts just to get over the limit, as these types of posts from new users won't make it past moderation. 2 Quote

imron Posted March 8, 2016 at 01:18 AM Report Posted March 8, 2016 at 01:18 AM You've always been able to participate. Just with a delay. If it's been more than 24-hours, then it's likely that your post didn't make it through the moderation queue. This will typically be the case if it was just a one or two line post that didn't add anything to a discussion that hadn't already been mentioned, or didn't have any meaningful content or question. This has been the case for several of your posts that didn't make it past moderation. Quote
markg Posted March 17, 2016 at 05:08 AM Report Posted March 17, 2016 at 05:08 AM Hi, i posted a few days ago and it has not appeared, or i cannot find it. When i look at 'my content' nothing shows up. Maybe i did something wrong, or does it sometimes take a few days? Thanks! 1 Quote

Kamikaze Posted March 18, 2016 at 10:33 PM Author Report Posted March 18, 2016 at 10:33 PM I'm not a full-member yet, I'm leaving this forum to join Chinese StackExchange Quote
imron Posted March 21, 2016 at 01:46 AM Report Posted March 21, 2016 at 01:46 AM Becoming a full member is not a function of time, it's a function of making posts. If you haven't been posting about anything then of course you won't be a full member. It's something that happens automatically once you have a certain number of approved posts. Somewhat ironically, your post above is the one that passed the threshold and upgraded you to full member, though it's also worth noting that 3 of your 5 posts so far have been about how come you aren't full member. It's not like you've been posting much other content. Quote
