I am a newbie to learning chinese and to this forum.

 

Been watching FCWR with english subtitle and have always been wondering what word Meng Fei uses when he introduces a new male candidate?

I think it means something like male guest or participant

男嘉宾 is right. But I've always wondered whether you could call the girls 女嘉宾? If I remember correctly, in the show they just refer to the girls by their number (e.g., 5号)
