New Members dwhaocone Posted March 19, 2016 at 10:06 PM New Members Report Posted March 19, 2016 at 10:06 PM I am applying a work permit from China. one of the items i need to prepare is notarized education certificate. I should send the original and a Chinese translation. my question is where you guys got the translation done. do you get the original authenticated and send them to china to get it translated? or you just translated in US and get both version notarized and authenticated. thanks Quote
ChTTay Posted March 21, 2016 at 02:00 PM Report Posted March 21, 2016 at 02:00 PM I am not sure in these circumstances BUT the place you get it notarized also might offer to translate it. You need to take it to the Chinese embassy for it to be notarized, right? At least when we went to apply for a UK visa, at a Chinese application center here in Beijing, any translation could be done by the visa service for a fee. They'd just take your application and translate anything you needed as part of that. Quote
