eion_padraig Posted April 2, 2016 at 08:40 AM Report Posted April 2, 2016 at 08:40 AM I been thinking someone should make a movie of the Chinese fan/exercise dancing groups in a competition into an American style dance off/cheerleading movie along the lines of "Bring it On". It would center around middle-aged Chinese women in conflict with other middle-aged Chinese women. If there are already Chinese films like this, I think I'm ready to watch them. Eion Quote
Flickserve Posted April 2, 2016 at 08:45 AM Author Report Posted April 2, 2016 at 08:45 AM Thank you all. I was more interested in Mandarin dramas which I should have mentioned beforehand. Apologies for that. Good idea Eion! Quote
character Posted April 2, 2016 at 09:53 AM Report Posted April 2, 2016 at 09:53 AM Steps was available with a Mandarin dub but seems out of print; 继续跳舞 is available with Mandarin dub here http://www.yesasia.com/us/keep-on-dancing-dvd-hong-kong-version/1021197833-0-0-0-en/info.html I been thinking someone should make a movie of the Chinese fan/exercise dancing groups in a competition into an American style dance off/cheerleading movie along the lines of "Bring it On". Might be hard to film, given the surprising amount of tension they have caused in China http://www.nytimes.com/2016/03/12/world/asia/china-dancing-square-grannies-shot.html Quote
