I recently started learning Mandarin and I asked a friend from China to help give me a Chinese name. He gave me the name 雪雅 and I was wondering if this name is okay. I know that names that are only two characters long are less common, so I just wanted to get some opinions. Thanks!

雪雅 is a very good name. If you wanted to add one character to it you could add 娜 at the end. There's a lot of possibilities. If you name is Hannah, 雪雅娜 is a good compomise: sounding good and at the same time not too different from your real name.
