Can Foreigners work in non-physician roles in China? Specifically: Radiographers

Hi everyone, nice forum.

Internationally trained doctors can secure work in China's international clinics, but can other internationally trained professionals secure work in their field in China? Specifically, the field of medical imaging where radiographers aka radiology technologists work.

Would anybody in China be so kind as to ask at their local Public Health Bureau if there is a foreign radiographer ( 放射技师 (fàngshè jìshī) ) examination like the foreign doctor examination?

A bit of an introduction:

I've been learning Chinese casually, first starting in September 2014. I'm close to a pre-advanced level.

I'm doing a radiography degree in my home country. Starting at the end of this academic year, I will devote about 15 months to in-country Chinese study.

I will then return to my home country to continue the next 3 years of my degree which includes 1 year of work experience.

Alongside this I will learn my discipline-specific Chinese vocabulary.

Then I want to try to get a job as a radiographer - 放射技师 (fàngshè jìshī) - in China.

Since nothing came up googling for English search terms, but a very healthy number of vacancies did come up using Chinese search terms, the roles out there are mainly for Chinese people: http://my.job120.com/jobs/34320.html

(Beijing Unitied Family Healthcare advertises a few positions on their website in English and Chinese)

Foreign doctors can enquire at their local Public Health Bureau about where to register for and sit the oral and written foreign doctor examination, after which they can apply for the Permit for Foreign Doctors Practicing Medicine Short-time in China. Is a similar thing available for Radiographers?

Perhaps there doesn't exist such a thing because Radiographers are still regarded as 'technicians' rather than health services professionals in China?

Can these hospitals offer foreigners employment and submit the required documents for a working visa and residence permit?

Thanks,

What about calling up/emailing one of the foreign clinics in a major Chinese city and asking them? I would think they would likely know if this was a possibility.
