Any recommendations of local host family near Peking University?

Could anyone who has past experience in living with a local host family near Peking University help please?  I will be spending a year from this Sept at Peking University studying Chinese and am trying to find a suitable host family but do not really want to use an agent as I have mainly heard negative feedbacks.  It is also reassuring to stay with host family with positive feedbacks from past students.  Can anyone help please?  Thank you.

Just want to say I did contact a few leads from the Homestayfinder.com but none has replied.  I assume it is really difficult to locate a local host family, will try to look for shared accommodation with my friends from college.

I am currently studying in Shanghai and I found a family through Wanderlust Au Pair China (an agency). They were very responsive. So far so good for me, I think they service Beijing as well, so maybe worth contacting them?

I did a fair amount of searching at one point, looking for host family options, and I stumbled upon workbeit's site. I searched the forum, and found these threads:
