Popular Post feihong Posted May 16, 2016 at 03:02 AM Popular Post Report Posted May 16, 2016 at 03:02 AM Grand Movie Project What is it? Basically, we watch a movie, then discuss it. Why? Some (but not all) Chinese movies are fun to watch! How? We provide links so that you can watch the movie via a video streaming site. Hard? It depends on the movie. We'll try to mix it up so that people at different levels can participate. When? About once a month. Where? Check out the schedule below. It contains links to the movies as well as discussion threads for each movie. What now? Choose a movie that interests you, or perhaps just the most current one, and watch it. Tell us what you thought, and post questions if you have them. How do I help? Get involved. You can make vocabulary lists, discuss plot details, explain cultural references, and suggest movies we should include. How are movies selected? I pick them, based on my own personal preferences. If you want to be on the selection committee, get involved and we'll go from there. ScheduleMay 15th, 2016: 催眠大师 (The Great Hypnotist). 2014. Genre: Horror. feihong Posted June 14, 2016 at 02:38 AM Author Report Posted June 14, 2016 at 02:38 AM June's movie is 师父. I had the opportunity earlier this month to see it on the big screen, and while I think it's not really flashy enough to justify seeing it in the theater, I still think it's a damn fine movie. July's movie will probably be the documentary 算命. Quote
