aless Posted May 19, 2016 at 05:54 AM Report Posted May 19, 2016 at 05:54 AM Hello, I came across the Integrated Chinese textbooks. I'm using the level one for self studying and so far I like it a lot. Does anybody know which schools in Kunming use those books in their classes? Thanks, Alessandro Quote

wushucrab20 Posted May 19, 2016 at 09:36 PM Report Posted May 19, 2016 at 09:36 PM I think you might be better off self studying and hiring a tutor for help with any questions, instead of taking a semesters worth of classes using those books. It depends on the pace you are aiming for. Quote
ChTTay Posted May 19, 2016 at 11:40 PM Report Posted May 19, 2016 at 11:40 PM Worth bearing in mind those books were designed for part time study at University. If you were doing an intensive course you would really get through them very quickly. I also used level 1 part 1 and part 2 as a beginner though and find them to be excellent. It's unlikely you'll have a school familiar with Integrated Chinese in China as those books aren't available here. I would just use whatever the school recommends as it's likely they're most familiar with that. You can supplement class by studying with your own textbook. Quote
