Messidor Posted May 23, 2016 at 05:43 AM Report Share Posted May 23, 2016 at 05:43 AM 抽风: originally means go into convulsions, is usually used in a figurative way which means do mad or stupid things. 作(zuō): colloquial, from Wu dialects; means someone (usually spoilt) does sth to show he/she is difficult to gratify (, thus he/she is disliked by others). 作(zuò): means do; there's a slang 作死 which means ask for trouble. 没事: the idiom 没事找事 means when there's no trouble[没事] (he/she) asks for trouble[找事] or (he/she) gratuitously[没事] causes trrouble/friction/conflict[找事]; 没事 can be used independently. ps 放着好好的日子不过, I guess that's a typo
