Need help on Chinese drawing patterns

Hi guys, 

 

i love Chinese history and everything what relates to it, and even more i love to re-search Chinese history.

 

my house is fully loaded with all king of Chinese things i can't stop buying stuff and decorating my house with items which relates to China.

 

currently i am trying to determine what "is it" and where it comes from, i would be very grateful if some one could express personal opinions here if possible of course on painted patterns and characters.
