TCSOL, TCFL, and TCSL (What the different) ?

Hi everybody, i want to ask about the different between Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language and Teaching Chinese as Second Language, what the different between 3 of that majors? if im not wrong if we apply for TCSOL there is a contract that we should be a chinese teacher at least 5 years. is TCFL and TCSL also like that? i mean, there is a contract too?

TCSOL--Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, this is a catch-all term for teaching students whose first language is not Chinese

 

That is then broken down into:

 

TCFL--Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, teaching Chinese to students whose first language is not Chinese and teaching them in contexts in which Chinese is not necessarily used primarily, i.e., learning Chinese in the U.S. outside of Chinese communities

 

TCSL--Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, teaching Chinese to students whose first language is not Chinese and teaching them in contexts in which Chinese may be the primary language, i.e., going to Tsinghua in Beijing and studying Chinese

I don't think there is a contract as such which implies that you're bound to an obligation of being engaged in teaching Chinese for 5 years. Just a written statement of your intention to be engaged in teaching Chinese for 5 years following graduation.
