New Members Seven Seas Posted June 10, 2016 at 09:14 AM New Members Report Posted June 10, 2016 at 09:14 AM I have inherited a pair of Chinese cufflinks, probably from Hong Kong, that features characters that I cannot find in any dictionary, no matter how hard I try. They aren't very complicated, perhaps somebody here can recognize them? Thank you in advance! Quote

li3wei1 Posted June 10, 2016 at 10:07 AM Report Posted June 10, 2016 at 10:07 AM It's not an extra stroke, it's the first stroke of the tiny square, but it's extended. They've done the same thing in the lower half of the other character. Probably a style thing. 1 Quote
889 Posted June 10, 2016 at 10:29 AM Report Posted June 10, 2016 at 10:29 AM It may be more than just style. If those characters are first formed then somehow fixed to the cufflink plate, then they'd best be formed as a single unit, othewise you'd have to separately form and fix that single stroke. 1 Quote
