I like when people have accented English it reveals their identity, I was born in England but grew up in Australia so I have a bastardised Australian accent with many British expressions. However this represents me and my experience. I think when I learn Chinese I want to minimise my accent but I don't mind if people can tell I am a 歪果仁. Besides it really does take a talented mimic to completely remove their accent. Quote
