Please help translate Chinese on old singing bowls

Hi, I am new here. I have been trying to translate these characters myself with absolutely no luck. My dad gave these singing bowls to me, they are very old. I didn't even notice at first but they have Chinese characters on them so I went on a mission to learn what they say which has led me here thus far. I am told they are at least 100 years old and could be difficult to translate. I have taken pics and posted link to pics below. If anyone can help me I would be so very grateful, I am desperate at this point.

I thank you for your time and consideration.

Nicole

They are Japanese. The date is 文政元三月 (the third month of the first year of the Bunsei Era/1818).

Oh wow okay. I am sorry, I feel silly. I was told the bowls were of the Chinese style and the characters were Chinese. I apologize and appreciate your help very much.

Please don't post photos on Flicker: it's hard to use, especially on a mobile device. Instead, you can upload photos direct to the forum.

I'm sorry, I am using the mobile website and I do not see anywhere to add photos or I would have gladly done that instead. As I mentioned I am new here. I will go back and try to fix it. Sorry.

Here are the pictures. Sorry for the links before. I didn't know you can change the site out of the mobile format.

One inscription reads 福井制 ”Made by Fukui" (or "Yoshii").

Question for those who might know: were the character forms 制 and 优 being used in Japan 200 years ago?
