A little help with a quick translation

Hi everyone,

this is my first post and I need a little help with a translation from Chinese to English. I'm translating a poem (sadly, I don't know who is the author, I did a search on the internet but couldn't find a clue) and a line in particular is puzzling me. Here is the whole part:

 

风沙沙，雨悠悠，

来时愁，去时犹，

千万不要低着头，

四面八方有朋友。

 

I had no trouble translating lines 1, 3 and 4, but I don't understand "来时愁，去时犹".

Perhaps something like, worried/anxious when coming, still worried/anxious when leaving?
