Flickserve Posted September 6, 2016 at 02:45 PM Report Posted September 6, 2016 at 02:45 PM I have been trying to generate some sentences to put into anki using TysonD's sentence mining method. I used workaudio book to successfully time subtitles to the MP3 I exported the subtitles to a .srt file I am stuck on the subs2srs part I have attached a screen shot. - Subs1 is the .srt file - output is the folder -video is the mp3 file (I changed it to recognise all files to get the name in) When I press 'Go!', I am not getting any audio files generated in the "Slow Chinese 162" folder A .tsv file is generated Can somebody check my setup and tell me where I am going wrong? querido Posted September 6, 2016 at 05:31 PM Report Posted September 6, 2016 at 05:31 PM Clear that "Video..." entry, and check and fill out "Generate Audio Clips" farther down. 1 Quote

Flickserve Posted September 7, 2016 at 12:53 AM Author Report Posted September 7, 2016 at 12:53 AM That was a fast reply. I have restarted the computer and ran subs2srs twice First attempt: There is some problem in generating audio files when I try that and press "Go!" This is the screenshot - do I have the boxes filled out correctly? Second attempt: I decided to extract the subs2srs files and run the app again. This time to the right of the audio box, a red exclamation mark comes up (it never did before) with the message "The number of audio files does match the number of subtitles...." I pressed "Go!" not hoping for much and all the audio files came up. I went through a few and they correctly match up to the hanzi in wordpad!! (refer to snapshot_4) So querido, I don't know what you did but it really helped. :clap  (next problem will be the importing into anki) Quote
