陈献 Xian Posted October 10, 2016 at 06:12 PM Report Share Posted October 10, 2016 at 06:12 PM I abuse myself( literal), we use it as a self-mockery word? for example, 我和一个渣男分手了,但是我还是忘不了他,是我在自虐。(I broke up with a scumbag but I still cannot forget him, I'm really 自虐ing.

Lu Posted October 11, 2016 at 03:20 PM Report Share Posted October 11, 2016 at 03:20 PM 'I abuse myself', with 'abuse' in its literal meaning of 'cause pain'. Google Translate is correct in this case, though not always.
animalfarm Posted October 12, 2016 at 11:05 PM Author Report Share Posted October 12, 2016 at 11:05 PM Thank you everyone, I wanted to google translate but I don't know how to write that in Chinese with a keyboard. So the translation means I abuse myself.. as in literally hurting myself physically? or as in I've acted in a way that resulted in getting myself emotionally hurt? or can it be both physically and emotionally And one more translation please :

The next one means 'What a weird dream' or ‘Such a crazy dream' or something along those lines. May I ask, out of curiosity, why you're coming across these phrases?
