markcarter Posted October 13, 2016 at 06:11 AM Report Posted October 13, 2016 at 06:11 AM Hi - a couple of months ago I created a Twitter account which tweets one animated Chengyu (Chinese idiom) every day. It gives the Pinyin, literal meaning and figurative meaning. The animations are of Simplified characters. The tone coloring follows the Hanping coloring scheme. If you are reading the tweet on an Android device, and have Hanping Dictionary installed, then clicking on the tweet's link will take you to the definition in the Hanping app - so that you can star the word, play audio, study the individual characters, save to Anki etc. I'd be very interested in any feedback anyone has. Many thanks! https://twitter.com/HanpingChengyu (to see animation: right click / open image in new tab) 1 Quote
Shelley Posted October 13, 2016 at 10:11 AM Report Posted October 13, 2016 at 10:11 AM That looks like fun its important to remember that sometimes when studying a bit of fun is needed. I am very new to twitter but this will help encourage me to use it. Will it work on Android with the Lite version of Hanping Dictionary? Thanks for sharing. 1 Quote
