Purplechinese experience anyone?

I found the web shop with a lot of Chinese textbooks, purplechinese(dot)net (I don't know if links are allowed on this forum),

I'd like to order some, but haven't found any reviews, can anyone share the experience?

Do you mean purple culture? I ordered some books from them a while ago and they were fine. They have a nice selection. (Shipping overseas can take a while, but that's true for anything ordered from China.)

I've done two orders with them and didn't have any problems. I don't remember how fast the shipping was though, it's been a while.

Use Taobao.

Do you have experience with Taobao? They don't ship outside of China and ordering through an agent will cost you as much, they actually charge even more for shipping + commission for their services.

As for purpleculture, I don't see much difference in shipping costs with the things I order from the US, for example, because international shipping rates usually start at 10$ minimum and get higher with more weight added. Books are heavy, so...
