reinard_wu Posted December 24, 2016 at 02:18 PM Report Posted December 24, 2016 at 02:18 PM What is the difference between 發音 and 讀法 ? It seems that the internet translation gives the same meaning "pronunciation". Quote
Guest123 Posted December 24, 2016 at 02:30 PM Report Posted December 24, 2016 at 02:30 PM 發音 - litterly "emit sound", it's about how do you pronounce words while speaking, your accent, its precision. 讀法 - the way you must read a character. As charaters are only written signs, they do not indicate pronounciation, so you must learn separately how to read them. Now it's usually indicated by pinyin. 1 Quote

So - 注意你的發音! - mind your pronounciation! 讀法 If you see a chinese character and don't know how to read it, you can ask: 這個字怎麼讀?- How do you read this character? 有些字有兩種讀法。- Some character have two readings. For ex. 仇 : Qiú - a surname, and chóu - hatred. 日本人用漢字,但是讀法不一樣。- The japanese use chinese characters, but read them differently. 2 Quote
