Fanderlo Posted July 24, 2005 at 03:44 PM Report Posted July 24, 2005 at 03:44 PM Hi everybody! In 10 days I'm living form Italy, from my mummy and form my spaghetti to start a 2 months trip in China. I will stay for the first 4 weeks in Beijin where I'm looking for a Chinese Intensive Course (I've already had some private lessons here in Venice) and I'm looking for a Room for August. Does anybody give me some advice?? Is it possible to share a Flat with other student? How much does it cost averagely? Where I can place adverts around the Metropoli?? Is it an intelligent way, or not? For the first night I will sleep in hostel (still don't know where..) , I will immediatly buy a Chinese telephon card and a bicycle (is it expensive?, dangerous?). I do speak Italian, English, Deutsch and Portugues (Chinese - work in progress). Thank's a lot! Fabio Quote

gato Posted July 27, 2005 at 05:24 PM Report Posted July 27, 2005 at 05:24 PM I know what being deprived of pasta is like. I wonder if there's good pasta in Beijing. Maybe you'll find their noodles an adequate substitute. Anyway, Craigslist.org, a free online classified site, just opened a section for Beijing. You can try its housing section. There aren't too many ads, yet, unfortunately. http://beijing.craigslist.org/roo/ See also this site: http://www.expatriates.com/classifieds/beij/housingavailable/ Quote
