Nephand Posted July 25, 2005 at 01:50 PM Report Posted July 25, 2005 at 01:50 PM One thing I've noticed a lack of, is people saying they were refused entry into a course. Admittedly I've not searched thoroughly for such threads, but I'm curious as to whether this is because it never happens or because people are just shamed into never mentioning it. Have foreigners applying to Chinese Universities been refused entry frequently? I'm just trying to weigh up options and knowing the likelihood of refusal of entry would narrow down my decision. Is it just a case, if you can pay the fees, you're in? Thanks in advance. Quote
fenlan Posted July 25, 2005 at 01:52 PM Report Posted July 25, 2005 at 01:52 PM You won't be refused entry, unless it one of those courses that requires one year's Chinese first or something. It is a business. Quote
Zhende ma? Posted July 26, 2005 at 07:10 AM Report Posted July 26, 2005 at 07:10 AM For foreigners they will almost never refuse you entry if you have the money. I have a friend who flew to Kunming, showed up the first day of registration at Yuannan Univ, paid his money and was admitted. Some universities like Beijing Uni. require a more formal process but I have never heard of outright rejection Quote
