abcdefg Posted January 19, 2017 at 04:08 AM Report Posted January 19, 2017 at 04:08 AM Just now made a post and realized that I could not preview it before publishing. Is there a way to do that which I overlooked? When I write long and somewhat complex posts with methods, links, and pictures, I always spend a good deal of time previewing them for obvious errors such as typos and spelling mistakes. Sure would like to be able to still do that now with this new tool set. It's particularly useful for some of the long food, drink, cooking and eating posts I like to make. I'm sure there are partial workarounds, such as first writing the bulk of it offline using a word processing program and then pasting it into the forum's composition box. But that does not help with formatting issues and placement of illustrations. I like to see those things in preview form before "going live." 1 Quote
roddy Posted January 19, 2017 at 08:14 AM Report Posted January 19, 2017 at 08:14 AM I actually wrote an explanation and apology of why there isn't. And then I noticed there is! Right-most icon on the editor toolbar - feel free to make a few test posts to test it out, we can always look at more pictures of food... 3 Quote

abcdefg Posted January 19, 2017 at 10:49 AM Author Report Posted January 19, 2017 at 10:49 AM OK, the "preview" function worked for me just now for a posting in the movie thread. Good! Any new thing takes time for slow users such as myself to learn to use them well, but so far it is going nicely. Appreciate the effort it took to make a sweeping update like this. Big thank you to the administrative team. Quote
