They told me they had received my application through the CSC system and that they will issue the official admission package and that I just had to wait for the CSC's package. So if the waiting really is too long for you, try to contact the universites you've applied for. Especially if you had an admission letter because they definitely get the notice before us.

Has anyone heard from Zhejiang University, Dalian University of Technology, or Sichuan University? Sichuan University emailed me and said I would be accepted but I haven't received any admission documents from the University and a month has passed since I received notification. I haven't heard anything from the CSC yet either. Are we supposed to all wait until the end of July and does anyone know if they send awardees an email or regular mail as notification of winning? What I understand there is that you have 2 parts to your sentence after you asked for admission letter to apply for CSC 1) You want to apply for CSc > They say "take this pre-adm letter" 2) You wanted a Admission letter > They say "only after we verify your documents, and admit you to university, we will give you" So what I understand is that the university accepted you. I dont know if it means embassy said "yes" to your app.

I didn't receive any news from my "dream university" and they told me that results are going to be announced next week. And at the same time another university want me to reply with yes/no today. However the trouble lies in the fact that in many countries embassies never actually tell who has been nominated leaving candidates in a bizzare waiting mood until late July.

Guest Posted June 20, 2017 at 01:10 PM Report Posted June 20, 2017 at 01:10 PM @LanceGonza that is partially true, I wasn't informed whether my application was nominated for being forwarded to the CSC or not, nonetheless, I made an educated guess after seen my cgs online application changing from 'Submitted' to 'In progress'. From that moment I knew my application was being evaluated in China and thus being nominated by the embassy. I your status doesn't change, well :/

Conduct interviews or some sorting system to select most qualified candidates 4. Issue nomination letter to candidates. 5. candidates apply on CSc site and hand in hard copy docs 6. embassy sends docs to csc 7. Csc gives final result to embassy and candidates get confirmed. This is just my observation having interacted with several applicants from different countries.
