Actually about starting a blog here

None of the options fit when selecting topic category - perhaps there should be 'Other' option.

 

Is a blog about living travelling and studying experience in China welcome?  Cannot see how to open a blog.

I used to run a blog of my travels, largely featuring photos and language, at AsiaFriendFinder, but I have deleted my account there.

Is here an appropriate place to record a simple small and uncontroversial blog?  Promise not mention Trump or Bo Xilai!

Yes and no. The blog section on here's been pretty neglected for quite some time - just have a look at how many posts there have been recently. It's also fairly common for blogs to be started in a fit of enthusiasm which then fades away. 

 

But if you want to give it a shot, let me know what you want it to be called and I'll get it set up.
