stapler Posted February 15, 2017 at 11:41 PM Report Posted February 15, 2017 at 11:41 PM You need to split it up into two sentences: "My father is a teacher, this painting on him looks good". I don't know what your native language is, but Chinese isn't very flexible when it comes to making the kind of sentence you seem to what to write (nor is English, for that matter). Quote
Daniel Tsui44 Posted February 16, 2017 at 08:14 AM Report Posted February 16, 2017 at 08:14 AM You can put it like this. 这幅画画的是我爸爸,一个老师,画得很好看。 这幅画画的是我当老师的爸爸,画得很好看。 这幅画着我当老师的爸爸的画很好看。 11 hours ago, lime20 said: 是老師的我爸爸畫的畫很好看 It doesn't make sense. Quote
Guest123 Posted February 16, 2017 at 09:14 AM Report Posted February 16, 2017 at 09:14 AM It is not a very good idea to make such word to word translation. I think a chinese would never put a sentence in that way. There are many ways to express the same meaning. 我爸爸当老师。他画的画很好看。 当老师的我爸爸画儿画得很好看。 我爸爸画儿画得很好看,他是个老师。 Quote
