New Members JefWin Posted March 2, 2017 at 10:28 AM New Members Report Posted March 2, 2017 at 10:28 AM Hi! I wonder if anyone can help with the characters on a painting that I have inherited from my parents, who somehow acquired it in the 1960's or 1970's. It is a painting of a scholar, with his assistant who is carrying a stringed instrument called a Guqin. Several people have tried to help me, but none have been able to make out the complete text. I found this forum, with a number of what seem to be experts, so I am hoping that someone here can help me. It would be interesting to know more about the painting. Grateful for any help! 1 Quote

Bai Yun jushi, is that a historical figure, are there any stories associated with him? And anyone know what the staff is that he is carrying, with what appear to be rolled up scrolls? Quote
