Again a question, Someone I new has a Chinese scroll.

There are 100 Chinese characters on it.

I think the 100 characters means all the same?

I have a photo of a part of the scroll, can anyone tell me what the meaning is of these characters?

I know the scroll must be turn 90 degrees counterclockwise.

I also ask myself, I see other scrolls like this with 100 characters.

Has the 100 characters also a meaning? why not 50 or 80 characters?

Maybe someone knows that.

This is called the 百壽圖 "100 Shou Design" and dates back to the Song Dynasty.

I don`t read Chinese but with Google Translate I guess no problem.

I Like these info, maybe the scrolll belongs not to me, I study Chinese characters as a hobby.
