From everything else I have gleaned that the meaning of the sentence as a whole is something like "In the event of bankruptcy or major financial losses, the relevant (higher) authorities will be the ones to arbitrate." Publius Posted June 7, 2017 at 12:06 AM Report Share Posted June 7, 2017 at 12:06 AM 報經 = 經(after) 上報(reporting to) 並(and) 由(by) P.S. I think it's more bureaucratic language than legal jargon. We see it almost everyday.
Benjameno Posted June 7, 2017 at 03:41 AM Author Report Share Posted June 7, 2017 at 03:41 AM Thanks! Condensed language like that always trips me up, as 經 and 報 feature in so many character combinations.
