Stricly speaking, not exactly a palindrome but I read this on BBC news just minutes ago: 三个代表 becomes 带三个表 (see the explanation in the article). As Chinese people love puns and word plays, and use them extremely effectively to say all sort of interesting things without saying them, I'd be surprised if there weren't many true palindromes.
