拉 lā, to pull. Also used in transliterations.

P.S. you should find a better way to block out text in an image.  What you have there is very readable - "this note will self-destruct.... blah blah blah"

I think you should put the 拉 in a sentence. Just like the 'pull', 拉 have many means in Chinese.

It can be used with other words to form a compond word for ex.  

拉链儿(simplified) or 拉鏈兒 (traditional) = zip fastener; zipper.

Guys, it's a months old post that the OP hasn't bothered responding to.  I think it's safe to say effort expended on this discussion will not be particularly worthwhile.

I'd probably go for 拉倒吧
