I have been in Shenyang, China for the past two months and have been staying with my godparents. As I am leaving in three days and today is my godmother's birthday, I want to leave with her a nice message of thanks and wish her a happy birthday in Mandarin, not anything too complex. However, though I have a basic conversational understanding of Chinese, I am having some trouble translating exactly what I want to say in English (below); any help would be greatly appreciated! Dear Aunt May, Happy birthday! Thank you so much for welcoming me with open arms and treating me like a family. Your graciousness and kindness is something I will never forget, and I sincerely appreciate all the meals and trips you have treated me to these past two months.
