New Members Micke Posted August 3, 2017 at 02:53 PM New Members Report Posted August 3, 2017 at 02:53 PM In September-October 1998 I was in Beijing and there was this pop song that was very popular, I would like to find out what it was. It had a female vocalist that sung very aggressivley, very high pitched and sounded angry or desperate. Her vocals and singing was in the style of the Icelandic singer Bjork early in her career, somewhat like in the song "Birthday" when she was with The Sugarcubes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFQPNApwJGU Cheers from the island of Gotland, --micke Quote

Although in many of them, she is singing covers of other people's songs. Quote
