Sometimes I've heard it as 'zee' - a sound that doesn't exist in standard mandarin but is pronounced with the pinyin 'z' initial followed by the 'i' sound in 'ji', which is I guess where they are coming from in that post. In hindsight, it was done with some combination of anti-long post, tidiniess OCD, and for want of testing the 'spoiler' button. But like all things we look for, it's in the last place we look for it.
