Zbigniew Posted September 2, 2017 at 02:23 PM Report Posted September 2, 2017 at 02:23 PM A question with no easy answer, perhaps. A Chinese acquaintance of mine with British citizenship (obtained about fifteen years ago) has parents still living in mainland China. Her parents are retired and have some property and savings that she would like to be able to inherit when her parents pass on. Under China's present rules (or let's just say "in practice") would there be a lot of red tape or obstacles in the way of this person asserting her claim to her parents' estate? I make the assumption (don't know whether it's true) that the parents have made a will leaving all of their estate to their only child. Thanks in advance for any help! Quote
