fenlan Posted August 6, 2005 at 12:53 PM Report Posted August 6, 2005 at 12:53 PM Who is Cui Zi'en? Anyway, newspaper stalls in Beijing do sell a glossy magazine that looks like it is designed to be read by homosexual men - lots of pictures of scantily clad men. But I can't remember the name. Quote
pazu Posted August 6, 2005 at 07:07 PM Report Posted August 6, 2005 at 07:07 PM The more famous one was Beijing Gushi (a novel on the internet), I think it was written by an anonymous lady resided in America or what. 蓝宇 Lanyu (a movie) was based on this novel. Quote
laohu489 Posted August 6, 2005 at 08:54 PM Report Posted August 6, 2005 at 08:54 PM This is from the ROC but it still may meet your needs. The authors name is Chu T'ienwen and the books name is Notes of a Desolate Man and it is available with an english translation (assuming you don't read Chinese). Good book and I highly recommend it.
