Flickserve Posted October 14, 2017 at 07:12 PM Report Posted October 14, 2017 at 07:12 PM How big is the utility of adding a picture to a flashcard? Very, very useful? Useful? Sometimes useful? It makes my flashcards look more interesting, cannot assess benefit. Quote
Shelley Posted October 14, 2017 at 10:26 PM Report Posted October 14, 2017 at 10:26 PM Probably useful for things, but what are you going to use for abstract concepts. I had some that I think were aimed at kids and we had the usual duck, horse, moon and sun etc but for hello we had people shaking hands, iffy, could have been goodbye. Quote

When I'm studying my Subs2SRS flashcards with pictures, the pictures make the cards more interesting for me, also. I think this is beneficial in that the cards are more interesting to study, which is no small thing. Quote
