How to gradually read Hanzi without Pinyin

In a text with Hanzi and Pinyin, for a beginner it is almost impossible to avoid to look at pinyin, so there is an "addiction" to written phonetic help.

DuShu proposal is to gradually hide pinyin fon known words, so it is easier to concentrate on Hanzi.

If the skill level is higer, we need less phonetic help, but if there's some doubt we can reaveal the pinyin for each character.

 

I tested it and I think that Android DuShu app has some really interesting ideas.

 

The release has at the first installation a  large amount of learning sentences availables for the different HSK levels

It can read  text, ePub ebooks and read clipboard

Can you adjust the width of the Pinyin such that the Chinese is spaced normally? Perhaps used a condensed font.
