somethingfunny Posted November 2, 2017 at 09:22 AM Report Posted November 2, 2017 at 09:22 AM There are lots of threads about good Chinese movies. I once came across this in a bookshop and you can get the table of contents here to see which movies those authors thought appropriate for Chinese learners. Rather embarrassingly, I've seen only one of those films. And there are no prizes for guessing which one. 2 Quote

laurenth Posted November 21, 2017 at 01:38 PM Report Posted November 21, 2017 at 01:38 PM You may be interested in a series called "Watching the movie and learning Chinese". In addition to the DVD, you get part of the script, some vocab, grammar explanations, details of the plot, etc. As far as I know there are only two books in the series: 洗澡 (excellent movie, IMO) and 霸王別姬.
