Saying "hi" / "嗨" in Chinese as a greeting

Actually, as many people have suggested, you really do hear "早" a great deal in the morning.

What if it were lunchtime though? What is frequently used once you get past morning and bump into a friend or colleague? For instance, 午安 wǔ'an or 下午好 xìawǔ hǎo would seem far more formal and much less widely use in lunchtime period than 早 is in the morning.

Is there an equivalent for lunchtime / afternoon greeting with the same kind of feel and commonality as 早?
