Christa Posted November 11, 2017 at 09:58 AM Author Report Posted November 11, 2017 at 09:58 AM Actually, as many people have suggested, you really do hear "早" a great deal in the morning. What if it were lunchtime though? What is frequently used once you get past morning and bump into a friend or colleague? For instance, 午安 wǔ'an or 下午好 xìawǔ hǎo would seem far more formal and much less widely use in lunchtime period than 早 is in the morning. Is there an equivalent for lunchtime / afternoon greeting with the same kind of feel and commonality as 早? Quote
