Friday Movies Kunming

Hi Kunmingers, 

 

We are holding Movie screenings every Friday at 1pm

This week is Red Cliff part one with English subs. 

 

All welcome no charge, 

Our students usually order up some food and enjoy the movie. 

 

If people are interested I'll post the movie each week or we can make a WeChat group

What is the physical set up for showing these films? What I'm really getting at is whether or not it would be better than just watching this film free on my laptop at home. Do you have a large screen and sound system? What is the venue? In other words, where is your school? What city bus lines go there?

 

As an aside, you might want to put a notice in GoKunming if you haven't already.

We have a number of very large ( 6 foot ) HD TV/Computer touch screens

We show them in classrooms and often make some snacks or bring fruit. 

 

Venue is Huayang Academy, 296 Jianshe Rd, Wuhua Qu, Floor 6

 

number 1 and 98 go to the school

 

Compared to watching at home I guess you can watch with teachers and students and discuss afterwards to improve your Chinese

Basically just have some fun and meet people
