IUP Tsinghua scholarship

Since most scholarships are only granted for normal university programs, I'm wondering if someone has information about the possibilites for the IUP Tsinghua program. Can the Confucius scholarship be used for this program? I'm not a university student at the moment, which can influence my eligibility as well..

I asked a contact I know who works at Tsinghua last year, and he said that the Confucius Institute scholarship can't be used to study on the intensive program. (Make sense, too, because that program is a lot more expensive.)  That's what I heard last year, but I still encourage you to directly ask.
