Zeppa Posted September 27, 2018 at 05:12 PM Report Posted September 27, 2018 at 05:12 PM Sorry, just taking the facetious reading. I did indeed intend to give half to the fox, but it was too good. They don't just like meat, they have a sweet tooth. 1 Quote

The modern types are really delicious. I had the pleasure of sampling a few newer styles from the bakery that just opened up near my school. They had 红梅 flavor and some others, with cute molds. Another really delicious one I had was a traditional style with like a pudding flavor in the middle. Basically tasted like a cake hahaha it was really good and gifted to me. Last year I had rose flavor which was also really yummy. I think from the traditional flavors I really love 枣 and I also have a soft spot for the most hated 五仁 but those are not peoples typical favs. I think this is a really fun season to sample the creativity that can come from mooncake season '冰皮月饼' I just ate the top left one not 30mins ago! Was great, the same rabbit symbol Where did you get them from I was gifted them? I think the 五仁 is great too 1 Quote

Its a bakery called 'Honeycake', they have a branch shop near my school (二外) but they have a main shop somewhere else in Beijing. They're a nice little bakery. 1 1 Quote
