Pengyou Posted December 14, 2017 at 06:27 AM Report Posted December 14, 2017 at 06:27 AM Sorry to bother you with another logistics question. Where can I find a big selection of decent but inexpensive Christmas trees and decorations? Quote

roddy Posted December 14, 2017 at 09:36 AM Report Posted December 14, 2017 at 09:36 AM The question isn't a bother, but if you can tell us more about your location, that'd be helpful. "Beijing" is a big place, and locations don't show up if someone's viewing on mobile. Quote
ChTTay Posted December 14, 2017 at 11:57 PM Report Posted December 14, 2017 at 11:57 PM Most Chinese supermarkets sell Christmas stuff in Beijing now. My independent, local, tiny supermarket nearby had mini trees, decorations and costumes. If you’re near a Carrefour they definitely have them. I’m surprised you needed to post really. They are that easy to find in Beijing these days ... 1 Quote
abcdefg Posted December 17, 2017 at 01:04 AM Report Posted December 17, 2017 at 01:04 AM They are inescapable in Walmart. The stores are also playing nonstop Christmas carols. Most employees wearing red Santa hats. Quote
Jim Posted December 17, 2017 at 05:31 AM Report Posted December 17, 2017 at 05:31 AM We get none of that Western nonsense out here in the sticks, though I could get myself along the Jingcheng expressway with a saw and take my pick of trees for free. Quote
DavyJonesLocker Posted December 18, 2017 at 09:15 AM Report Posted December 18, 2017 at 09:15 AM Christmas in China always feels very artificial to me. If one has a family I guess it's nice happy occasion for the kids though. Quote
