Translation Request - War Relic

First time user. Came across some war relics from the mid to late 20th century. This is the first one, I believe it is an anti-aircraft sight for an unknown weapon. Any help would be appreciated...Thanks!

On the far left: “Target Speed m/s”

I've never seen that character in the top on the right before. Is it from the second round of simplifications perhaps?

I tried looking and zdic seems to suggest it's a variant form of 形: http://www.zdic.net/z/8d/js/22488.htm Not sure what 缩形 would mean as a compound if that's true but you can imagine possibilities that might fit

ETA Checking again I see it's also a second-round simplification of 影 and 缩影 seems to be used for aircraft silhouette which would fit.

缩影  - at a guess it's 'shrunken silhouette'? - the silhouette appears 1/4, 1/2, etc, the size of some reference silhouette. Combine that with speed and it tells you how far ahead of the target to shoot?
