Disallowed Characters

This is a proper Unicode character, it appears in my font, and I can do a Google search on it fine, but if I put it in a post here the message is the post includes a character that is not allowed. Isn't the entire Unicode set with extensions supported?

That should be fixable, but I want to check a couple of things first - I was under the impression... actually hang on, this'll be more fun than what I'm actually meant to be doing.

Ok, the database can actually handle it fine, there's a problem getting stuff in and out of the database (that ? above is the character in question - appears fine when I view the database directly). I'll take a look at some point.

I can’t get the character in question even through handwriting on my device, and it just shows up as a box when viewing other sites  sad.
